It’s been a long old week (well not really, obviously, but it’s at least three weeks until the next bank holiday), and I’m ready for some serious pampering this weekend.
I’m loving the Oskia skincare range right now – gorgeous natural skincare, it smells heavenly and I love the packaging, too.
So, because I know you’re all in need of a treat as well, I’m going to give one of you the chance to win two fabulous products: the radiance-boosting Nutri-Active Day Cream, and the fabulous Eye Wonder eye serum, which reduces puffiness and dark circles.
All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning these fabulous pampering beauty treats is leave your response to the following question by next Friday. Please note that usual The Mum Blog rules apply and any duplicated comments will be deleted.
Q: Why are you in need of a pampering treat?
Good luck! x
I’m a working mum, we are moving house and my childcare just went kaput. Argh!
Well doing the usual looking after 3 children of different ages and needs: 4 yrs, 12 yrs & 11 yrs with disability.

Because I’m going throught the new baby, sleepless night stage, naughty toddler, toilet training stage all at the same time….Ok it’s with my new puppy, but I’ve still got my normal Mummy duties to do on top and I am a wreck!!

i deserve a treat because im a single mum with a beautiful 11 month old daughter who has only just started gettin teeth and is refusing to sleep so i think i deserve a lil pampering!

I need to post my BEFORE and AFTER exercise programme picture so need pampering first lol
I would give it to my mum as she deserves it the most, especially since my dad died and my nan had a major fall just before Christmas.
i need some pampering because all i ever seem to do is work and havnt had a holiday for almost 3 years!
because I have been running around like a Loon for the past few weeks and I need some me time!
I deserve this because with two kids, hubby, 2 cats, 1 hamster, 12 fish, a horse, a business and everything else that goes on I never find a spare minute for me and if I do i feel guilty and wonder what else I should be doing.
I have two gorgeous grandsons, Jaret 7 and Kris 3, Kris makes sure i join in every game!! I am sat with a nice cuppa after having Kris this morning and will get him from Nursery at 3pm…in order for me not to turn into a wreck..please Pamper Me!!!!

I need some time just to chill an pamper myself, all i seem to do is work, work, work and run the house and be mum to my young family, never enough hours in the day left for me just to soak and make myself beautiful.
I am in need of a pampering treat… to share with my best friends!
A few of us have just had second babies and I am planning a girly evening – cue a bottle of wine, face masks, nail polish plus two Oskia skincare treats if I win!
Much more of a treat if you share!
I have just had a baby, and am getting no sleep due to her having a illness, so this would be great as make me look human and not look worse, as i look lifeless and awful
Where do I start? I’m currently working over 40hrs a week, running a house singlehandedly, looking after a 9yr old boy, doing a degree, buying a new house, trying to diet, suffering insomnia, my 15yr old car has a scary new light on the dashboard, been single for 3yrs, and suffering from stress as my Superwoman cape seems to have frayed a wee bit. OH and i found my first grey hair…. IN MY SODDING EYEBROW.
oh god, i’ve just ranted at you……
My skin is gorgeous, flawless and radiant – until I put my glasses on! I need something to put the “glamorous” into “granny”
I’m in need of a pamper session as it seems at times that my husband is a bigger kid than the children – aaarrrggghhhhh
Because I haven’t had a good nights sleep in 6 months.
I’m in need of a pampering treat because this month, has been a month from hell…laptop broke twice, car is in for service and mot, just hoping it doesn’t fail on anything and pay day isn’t for another 3 weeks and I have peanuts in the bank =(
I’m not, but my other half is. She has other people’s kids all day (childminder), is 36 weeks preganant AND she has to put up with me!
My daughter was rushed to hospital because she couldn’t breathe. She has been on steriods and inhalers ever since. It has left me physically and emotionally shattered and I could do with some pampering.
I am a single mum to two under 11’s, have just started new medication for my bipolar, and my father who is my only relative (apart from the kids), has just been diagnosed with terminal cancer. I;m sorry this is so miserable but I really could do with a de-stress to recharge my batteries.
the year started badly with death of friend and my nan, i turned 40 without much celebration. I dont have much time to have a rest as daughter has busy training schedule
My 2 year old has started waking at 4am to start the day, I have a baby and my 12 yr old daughter doesnt go to bed till 9pm – I need a treat!
After reading all the above comments I feel very humbled so I’m going to nick Cheryl Coles line.
‘Because I’m worth it’
Because i am worth it! And because I don’t look after myself very well and need a lovely treat so this looks ideal…. @Bobbity666
I could do with some pampering after my nine-year-old’s three-day birthday celebrations, the loo seat breaking (those two aren’t related), a parking ticket (didn’t have my binoculars with me to see the resident’s permit only sign half way down the street), and foxes pooping on my front door step.
i need pampering because my new baby isnt sleeping and im really tired! 🙂
I need pampering because my little sister discovered and picked out (in public!!!!) a whole bunch of white hairs. I was in denial. Now I’m in shock.
Because I’m trying so hard to cope with my ailing mother, a very ill dog, impending redundancy, aqnd generally trying to keep myself together when I’m actually falling apart.
I desperately need pampering please, because in the past 3 months I’ve been in the 4th largest earthquake EVER, had my daughter off school for 2 months, moved from Tokyo to Berlin… and am completely frazzled by life in general.
My looks are now resembling my mother’s…
We all need a bit of pampering every now and then. My turn is NOW! (please)
Because at the moment I’m chanelling Worzel Gummidge. Straw hair – check, weatherbeaten complexion – check, grimy nails – check.
I work, I look after my kids, I cook, I clean, I garden, I need some time for me!
well where do i start i have a three year old thats just started nursery and finding it hard when he cries for me,also he’s started with night terrors which are really awful,i’ve just had a baby boy by emergency c section had to have a blood transfusion and now have mastius.so i’d love this to put a smile on my face
OK – we ALL need treats, and if this stuff makes me look like Geogie Cleeve (founder), who surely can’t be older than 12, then I insist I win! Now please! The formula should kick in before my 40th in July…
I have a 10 month baby and a 3 year old and I’m just returning to self emoloyment after maternity leave while trying to work out how to run my household. aaaarrrrrgggghhh
I have a 10 week old and a 3 year old i think thats a good enough reason. hehe
I don’t deserve it any more than anyone else, or any less, I just deserve it (and I can’t even afford milk some weeks, so this would be total LUXURY!)
I’m in need of a pampering treat because despite the fact that I have an amazing family and loving OH, there comes a point when you just need some me time! Especially when you’re 8 mths pregnant! G’luck all =)
because I am nearly six months pregnant, work full time and then come home to a 3 year old and two year old and feel very worn out!
After the last 6 weeks of lambing, my eyes look like they have two heavy-duty black bin bags under them. In fact, I could be in the World Record book for the biggest bags!!
CJ xx
Wow how do i compete with all those very deserving mums? Well i don’t really but at 28 with massive under eye bags and crows feet from screaming at my four girls i need something to make me look half human – failing winning this i might have to resort to botox and you wouldn’t want that on your consience would you haha?
Because I am due to have my second baby in August and need pampering to set me up for this.
because i am a mam and never have time for myself
Cos I’m getting near my sell-by-date,
And Oskia helps me rejuvenate!
Because I need to switch off from the job search and money worries!
because i am stressed and need to be pampered to destress. my husband has just been in hospital with a fractured skull as a result of an assault and i am worried about the long term effects of this. a bit pampering will help me relax for a change.
This week I have been turned down for my dream job, caught a horrible virus and discovered a leak in the bathroom. I don’t know whether I deserve some pampering but I definitely feel in need of it!
I can’t say that I deserve pampering more than any other mum, we all deserve to be pampered no matter what our circumstances!!! I would love to be pampered as I am a single mum, who has worked full time whilst studying fulltime to get my degree and now i’m on my teacher training course so I have little time or money to be pampered.
gosh, after reading all the comments above I no longer feel deserving at all. Sounds like all mums need something like this!
Because I am 6 months pregnant with a 2 year old, a 4 year old and worst of all….a snoring partner! I’m soooo tired I definitely need the wonder eye serum and day cream!! Thank you!
I’d love a pampering treat as my daughter’s going away on her first school field trip – time for me – at last x
Because not only am I a busy mum to three boys aged between 7 and 22mths, Im a childminder and look after 3 young children as well as helping out at my local children’s centre
Trying to recover after the school Easter Holidays in time for the next half term
Been raising my children over the last 20 years and this would be great for de stressing and us girls could have a brilliant pamper night
Inbetween doing 2 college courses and looking after the house, I’m running around with my children 4yrs & 7yrs and I always put EVERYTHING before myself.
My husband always moans at me because I never buy things for me, it’s always for the kids, him or the house.
I need to relax more, but a mothers work is never done 🙂
I have been off work with depression for 5 months but it is an invisible illness which I get no sympathy or help for from my family. I need a break. My 7 year old is my angel!
i think i deserve to win as im a mum of 4 and 1 on the way, ive been in and out of hospital with this pregnancy as i have a rare pregnancy condition, this little treat would cheer me up no end X
Stressy time of the year for school teacher in y6- Worked so hard to prepare the children for next week (SATs). Knowing that they are ready to fly as they stretch towards secondary school. I need to be calm to keep them- and worried parents, focused through this jittery time. By Friday I will be shattered, having carried the weight of the world on my shoulders balancing their needs and the demands of my own three children.
A pampering treat at the end of the week will help charge my batteries before we launch headlong preparing for ‘Lion King’ end of term production!
I’ve had a really crappy week to be honest.
In hospital to check out chest pains and got to go back for more tests :0(
Could do with some cheering up and pampering, x
my son has been pretty ill after his operation and i am expecting another one in september. Love to win the prize.
Wardrobe empty, finances chronic – lovely treat, PERFECT TONIC!
I really need a treat as my daughter has been ill this week so I’ve been looking after her and cleaning and washing loads!
I’ve been dieting now for over a year & lost 8 stone so far though it’s not been easy as I’ve had to stop the diet every time I’ve been ill which has been quite a few as I suffer from fibromyalgia & rheumatoid arthritis & my medication compromises my immune system so I get very poorly if I get even a slight cold. I’ve just recovered from a very bad chest infection which kept me inside away from all this beautiful sunshine so I think I deserve a bit of pampering as I’m single, live alone, no family around me so if I’m going to get pampered I have to do it myself
i have rheumatoid arthritis really bad, and looking after 2 kids, one of which has ADHD is hard work. id love a little treat
Because my second child is due today (no sign of him/her though) my 15 month old has taken to early morning waking and I now have extremely large suitcases under my eyes rather than my usual ‘bags’!!…
as i ahve just come back from a break at Alton Towers with my daughter and grandson and im shattered all week i have been feeling like i have no energy and really need some me time and a bit of pampering x
Because crows feet have rested on my face which need a lot of tlc

i have chronic fatigue syndrome, this would be a fab boost
Because I feel so tired and this is just the thing to liven me up!
I am a busy working Mum, I work full time 8-6 5 days and every other Saturday half day, 5 kids from age 1 to 8, ballet for one , football for the other – sometimes I wonder how I dont end up with my Pants on my head Im that run off my feet – would love a little pamper – I rarely spend money on myself there never seems any spare 🙁 xxx
Between visiting my mum who has been in hospital for the past four weeks and working full time with a family I seriously need a ittle me tme and a pamper so please please pick me.
its always others that get pampered not me, would be so nice to have a pamper myself for a change
I am a single mum to for children ,aged 7, 6, 5 and 3! I am only 36 and have been recently diagnosed as suffering from brittle bones so I have to take it easy. I feel quite low about this just now o could do with a pamper xxx
because I’m about to go on holiday and I look like a tramp and somehow I don’t think the glam ladies in the south of france are going to approve of me. Bah to them.
Because I have been working hard looking after a poorly toddler, a teething baby and a sick husband so could do with a little treat for myself!
Because I have a 5 year old who thought my last serum was something which she should use to ‘make a potion’ with while in the bath. Sob
I have skin like a wizened old crow due to having two teenagers (one doing exams), moving house, and owning a cat that wants to kill me.
i am sooo in need of a pampering treat, 8 weeks to go until baby number two arrives and I’m feeling heavy and huge! A little pick me up is just what I need. 😉
Because it’s either that or resorting to gin… again.
