I am such a fan of Green People and their organic and natural skincare products. When you have a child who suffers from eczema, you have to be SO careful about what you put on their skin but we’ve always found the kids’ range to be ideal, particularly the suncare. We love the Aloe Vera lotion & After Sun, which is perfect for sensitive skin (and they make lovely products for mums, too).
And I’m very excited to be giving you the chance to win a gift basket full of Green People skincare goodies.
The basket, worth £79.50, includes their Children’s Sun Lotion SPF25 Scent Free, Mum & Baby Rescue Balm, Children’s Mandarin Toothpaste, Children’s Citrus Bath & Shower Gel, Children’s Lavender Shampoo, and for you, Gentle Cleanse & Make-Up Remover, Vita Min Fix Day Moisturiser and Aloe Vera Shower Gel.

My 1 year old son has a fairly large strawberry birthmark, and it’s important to me that I only use products that are very, very kind and simple on his skin. Have not tried this range yet, but heard very good things about it!
Because it’s best for the environment and no chemicals which could damage my family and my health.
I like to buy natural and organic products because I feel these are the best for my skin, rather than damaging it using harsh chemicals. I love that it also means that I am having less of an impact on the environment.
I love to make myself beautiful but I don’t do this in exchange of having a bad impact on our environment. That’s why I choose natural and organic products, plus I don’t like the idea of chemicals being put into my beautiful skin.
Having chemicals in my delicate skin really frightens me that’s why I prefer natural and organic products. I also think about it’s impact on our environment.
I prefer organic and naturals as I can’t believe slapping on products full of ingredients from the petrochemical industry can possibly be beneficial. Goodness knows what effect they have in the long term as we haven’t had a chance to find out yet.
good for the skin 🙂
I don’t want any nasties on me or my baby’s skin.
My son suffers with eczema, so I have to be really careful with what I use on his skin. I remember using a suncream on him one year and his face just blisterd all over it was horible, I still have nightmares about it. this is why I only ever buy organic and natural product now. They must also be scent free. I never want him to go through that again.
It’s not always the case that I ‘like’ to buy organic and natural products, it’s more often the case that I ‘have’ to. I like the fact they are kinder on skin, but they aren’t always so kind on my purse LOL!
Both my children and I have sensitive skin, I like Neals Yard and Burts Bees products as a treat, but my youngest little girl is currently allergic to pretty much everything we use on her, from sun cream to shampoo. So, right now we are trying anything and every thing!
There are no chemicals on my skin
I like organic products because i think they are better for you, i worry what artificial chemicals do to your health.
I like to buy organic products because they are good for me and my family and also for the environment!
I like to buy organic and natural products as they are easier on the earth and especially us!
Because they have fewer side effects than many other products that are manufactured.
because they likely to have lesser side effects on the body
I seek out animal friendly products wherever possible. This is my first priority as, of there is an animal-friendly option, I cannot justify buying anything else. Following on from that, I like to know that a product is as non-artificial as possible as I don’t like to think of using to many chemicals on skin.
Because I feel that using chemicals on my skin is unnatural and may make me age prematurely.
We all have eczma, but daughter developed allergies and we began looking into ways of reducing her problems. We have found that many organic and natural products are best for her and have managed to control her condition quite well with a few simple changes.
My son, Thomas, is 6 months old. He has suffered with eczema since he was 4 weeks, and since i’ve yet to find a doctor who will take it seriously i’ve been doing my own research into how to manage this condition whilst avoiding harsh, man-made chemicals and steroid creams. Natural and organic products and by far the most effective, and i started using Green Baby products a month ago. They have made such a difference to the condition of his skin, and, more importantly, to his comfort – he’s much happier now he’s less itchy!
Natural products are naturally good
They are better quality and I like to do my bit for the environment
my 2 yo daughter has particularly sensitive skin so we tend to buy organic and natural products that dont irritate her
because my youngest has very sensitive skin and anything else causes a rash
I like to buy organic and natural products as you know there’s nothing in there that could damage myself or my children’s delicate skin! Although some chemicals and artificial ingredients can be beneficial I believe natural is always the best way to go to ensure the best skincare
I like to buy organic and natural products because they are better for you, your family and the environment.
I buy organic skincare whenever I possibly can, as I truly feel that all of the chemicals contained in standard creams and soaps are so bad for our skin – not to mention the environment. I have a little one with excema and I have psoriasis – organic products allow me to care for our skin without irritation,
i like to feel healthly
I buy organic products because it discourages producers to use chemicals in their products which will subsequently help the enviroment aswell as my health and wellbeing!
I only eat organic foods so for me this was a natural progression.
No nasties in them, I try to use products that are as natural as possible on me and when cleaning the house x
I like to buy organic products because my daughter has really sensitive skin. If there is anything to help make her skin more comfortable then I am interested.
Both myself and my daughter suffer from multiple chemical sensitivities and these products are much kinder to our bodies. They are also much kinder to the environment. The fact that they smell and feel so wonderful just seals the deal.
I like to do as much as I can for the environment, but I like the idea of products that are as simple and natural as possible as I think they’ll be kinder to my poor irritated skin!
I buy organic for the health of my kids, and the health of the environment when they have their own kids
I buy organic because it’s better for me, my family and the environment because the produce is grown without pesticides or other bad chemicals
Better for me and my family and kinder to the environment.
USING ORGANIC MAKES YOU FEEL ITS NATURE WAY
I buy them because they are better for you 🙂
I buy all organic and natural products as both me and my son suffer from eczema. I use Green People Sun Cream on my little boy and it is by far the best I have found!
I know they are much safer for my skin. I have sensitve skin and its not worth risking a reaction
i am a big fan of bamboo, i really struggled to find clothes but had some lovely bedding. ive never felt anything so soft! its a natural antibacterial product & can help maintain temperature which is so important for my sleeping babba 🙂
I have very sensitive skin so I am picky about what I put on it, I have used Green People before and love it!
With a very poorly little girl who is being pumped full of medicine all the time, anything I can do to make things more natural, I will!
I have a two year old with sensitive skin so I like natural, organic products that I can use on me and still give her cuddles without irritating her skin.
I have bought them because of the reaction my daughter had to “normal” sun cream. Did a bit of research and it scared me what chemicals were going into her to cause this reaction. She now has lovely skin when she goes into the sun which is why I will continue to buy natural products like green people produce.
I like natural and organic products because I feel they are kinder to me and the environment
I love Green People products, especially the Organic Children’s sun cream. My daughter has eczema and I spent 2 years trying to find a sun cream that didn’t irritate her skin. Even those recommended to me by her Dermatologist, didn’t work. I am involved with a new charity, Eczema Outreach Scotland, and I recommend Green People’s products to anyone I speak to. Thank you!
I have been big into organic products and food since reading about the benefits when I was pregnant, I always try and make sure that as much as I can the children eat organic food and they have always had organic milk as well – this should also extend to what goes on their skin and my daughter has very sensitive skin so this always helps @MummyFever
I too suffer from sensitive skin so natural products for the whole family are a no brainer for me. But also in general the quality of the ingredients and the way they are produced are of a higher standard then ‘normal’ and I like to think I’m also helping the planet a bit by not added more chemicals and things to the world! xx
So many reasons, but good for the environment, good for my son & good for me.
Because I used them on my daughter & she has always had beautiful skin!
So I will have to provide the same for no2 who is on the way soon, but have always found a little goes a long way so well worth it really x
We prefer organic and natural products as we are very conscience of our impact on the environment and of course the added bonus of no nasty chemicals on our delicate skin.
A very long time ago when I was at school, I was educated in the ways of organic farming – my school had its own farm and rural science was part of all pupils education.
I have followed what I learnt and in a nutshell I believe that organic products and food are basically the key to saving the planet and they are better for our health, less carcagenics and questionable chemicals and kinder to ever increasing sensitive skin.
Would love to win xx Emma (@beachpebble)
i love them because they just smell so much nicer, i hate reproduced chemical smells.
we like them as we suffer from allergies but are ok with these
I try to be local & organic produce as often as possible so I’m keeping the money local & also giving my family the best. But I can’t always afford it, having a large family means large quantites of everything & sometimes the organic range is just so much more expensive. I also try to grow a few basic things in the garden, have planted some potatoes in an old garden pot, never done that before so will have to see how it works out! But the pea, lettuce & radish are coming on well, thank goodness for a bit of sun on them this week!
My kids suffer from really bad ezcema so I like to make sure I am buying them the best, most skin friendly products available. 🙂
@mummy_loves
We like to buy organic & natural products as 3 out of 4 of the family have eczema & we find that every day products make it worse so tend to stick to natural products 🙂
I buy organic and natural products so that I can feel I am doing my bit to help the environment. I also care for the welfare of animals and workers, whom help to create our products. I believe that organic and natural products are more healthy and for this reason, I am willing to pay that little bit more.
