Disney is hope, happiness and magic. It can push away the drakest cloud on the worse day and bring so much love and joy to so many.

I love that there’s more to Disney than we ever really realise. I’m hooked on some of their early 1960’s live action movies – That Darn Cat, for instance. It’s a world where good intentions always win out, and when the real world isn’t like that, it’s a great place to retreat to.

  • sarah parker August 21, 2011 at 9:11 pm

I love the fact you can tell a Disney production by one screen shot alone due to its magical atmosphere and sense of detail. I love that every characrter no matter how small has a clear defined personality and it shows my children that there are all sorts of people in this world.

The magical feeling you get, young and old. The feel good factor you get, whether it’s visiting a park , visiting a store or watching a Disney film. They just adapt to the times and draw everyone in.My family have been to the parks quite a few times and will continue to do so . When you walk down Main Street you can’t help but smile. You will never leave a park feeling unhappy, just wanting more !

  • Maria Reilly August 19, 2011 at 9:48 pm

Simple! it encapsulates everything that not only my daughter loves and will remember about childhood, but also everything I loved and have lasting memories of in childhood. It’s the pinacle of life to get to disneyland and fantastic to watch my children being mezmerised by the same disney films I went to see at their age.

  • Erica August 19, 2011 at 11:17 am

Disney do stuff the way it should be done. The parks are amazing, the films are a cut above the rest (toy story 3 and tangled!) and they truly encapsulate the fun of being a kid. Even if like me you’re an adult sized kid!

  • Marie Hewitt August 18, 2011 at 4:13 pm

I love Disney because no matter how old you are you can still enjoy it. Me and my two children love to watch Disney films together and I know that there isn’t going ot be anything in there that I would not want my children to see. Disney forever!

I love everything about disney. It sums up my childhood and you never grow out of the films. I still watch and enjoy them now. Disney land is also fantastic, it may be aimed at kids but I think I enjoyed it more than any of the kids that were there. Disney is just fantastic and magical and completely flawless.

  • Samantha Jeanes August 18, 2011 at 8:48 am

Everything, I am going to Florida for the second year running in 3 weeks. I have been to DLRP 13 times and am going back in December, and all this without any children going, and I am 51.
I went to Florida last year to celebrate my 50th birthday. I have over 2000 disney pins.
But I do intend to take my 2 grandchildren when they are a bit older, I have already gotten them into Disney with loads of stuff from the parks and stores and the films.

We have just got back from Disneyland a few weeks ago and loved it. From the moment we walked in and strolled down Main Street you could feel the magic, the smiles on the kids faces, the happy atmosphere, it really is a place where dreams come true. The look on my little boys face when he met Woody was amazing. Now we can’t wait to go back!!!

  • Fiona May August 16, 2011 at 4:37 pm

All of the different stories, theres now one for each part of the world and every culture, and better yet you can go and visit where the movie magic comes to life in Disneyland.

  • Stuart McKenzie August 16, 2011 at 4:15 pm

For our house, it’s the fact that the Disney name guarantees that we can all sit down together as a family & enjoy a quality film or TV show. We know there will be enough in the film to keep our 2 year olds attention, and also enough to keep the adults entertained. It’s rare these days as most TV & films seem to be aimed at a particular age group – either adults, children, or teenagers in between.

Lovely to have something we can all enjoy together.

  • Caroline French August 16, 2011 at 1:49 pm

For me Disney is classic, reliable and brilliant. Doesn’t matter if it’s old or new films and characters, they all have charm and are so well loved by children and adults! I would absolutely love to take the family to Disneyland or Disneyworld one day (i think my husband would enjoy it the most!) My little girl is 2 and already a massive Mickey Mouse fan but is totally obsessed with Finding Nemo and Toy Story but i do also get her to watch a wide variety like Beauty and the Beast, Bambi and my personal favourite Mary Poppins! My 1 yr old boy is fast on her tracks having watched Cars for the first time too recently!

  • Rachel August 16, 2011 at 1:19 pm

I love Disney because when I watch their movies with my kids, I enjoy it just as much as they do. I grew up watching classic Disney movies, and now my kids are doing the same. Disney has captivated and inspired so many people, I think it’s quite magical!

Disney is and will always be magical. No matter what age you watching or being part of the fantasy behind Disney & the pure escapism it creates is the reason why even at 33 I still dream of going back to Disney in the US with my 3 year old and watching her beautiful face light up in wonderment & awe when she meets the characters who are so real on screen come to life before her eyes.
