Win Barbie goodies (including her cruise ship)

August 7, 2013

Ohhh I’m so excited about this, and it’s SUCH a shame that my niece is now far too big for Barbie, because when she was younger she would have adored one of these incredible prizes.

As you know, I’m a Royal Caribbean Family Ambassador, and one of the best things about cruising with Royal is that they offer Barbie experiences on board their ships. Fashion shows, tea parties, dressing up as Barbie *sighs wistfully*.

So I’ve teamed up with them to offer you the opportunity to win some FAB Barbie goodies.

1st prize: Barbie cruise ship (I KNOW!)

Barbie cruise shipWith this cruise ship, kids can play out the perfect family vacation β€” on the “water” or docked at shore. The side panel of the large-scale boat opens to reveal an additional deck below and expands the play space to 3.5 feet. With areas for dining, playing, lounging, and sleeping, this delightful cruise ship lets children sail away into imagination and play. I WANT ONE!

2nd prize: A Barbie ballerina doll

Barbie ballerinasThe winner of the second prize will win one of these gorgeous Barbies, representing the classical ballets Giselle and Swan Lake. The best thing is they have articulated legs and you can make them dance –Β simply push the doll down into a pliΓ©.

3rd prize: A Barbie stationery backpack

Barbie back packThis is so cool, and it comes complete with a ring binder and writing accessories, making it ideal for travelling, or when they go back to school.

How to enter:

Simply leave your answer to the following question below by the closing time on the closing date, 11.59pm on Wednesday 21 August. The three winners will be chosen at random and the prizes will be awarded in the order the numbers are chosen. No correspondence will be entered into and the usual The Mum Blog competition rules also apply.

Q: If you could take your family anywhere on a cruise, where would you go?

Good luck!

I’m so totally not good at boats, the only cruise I’d be taking my family on would be round the duckpond in our local park. :-/ I got seasick on the boat ride at Peppa Pig World.

Gosh, think I’d want to take my girls in a long cruise around the mediterranean and introduce them to all the wonderful languages and cultures on our doorstep. They’re facinated by foreign language at the moment

If I could take my family on a cruise anywhere – it would have to be a cruise around the world. That would be amazing and get to see some amazing countries.

Oh my! I have 4 nieces already (with a further two nieces or nephews due before the end of the year) and a daughter so my life is very much Barbie focused!

Honestly, a cruise *anywhere* would be awesome, but I’ve always rather fancied one of those Alaskan cruises – with the breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains and glaciers and icebergs. We’ll pass on any Titanic extracurriculars though, if you don’t mind. Or, similarly, the Nordic fjords. So pretty!

  • Cathy Glynn August 7, 2013 at 8:51 pm

I think we’d go on a cruise around the world and see all the exciting cities, luxurious beaches and stop in Africa to go on a safari.
