I can’t tell you how difficult it is for me to give you the chance to win these little Steiff teddy bears. Aren’t they adorable? I big fluffy heart them. But I know that two of you (I’m giving away one of each) will give them a good home *sniff*.
As you probably know, these hand-crafted bears are also collectors’ items, and they make the perfect Christmas gift. The instantly recognisable ‘Button in Ear’ tag, designed in 1904, remains a symbol of Steiff’s quality, craftsmanship and the highest standards of toy safety on the market. Having created the world’s first soft toy in 1880 and the first teddy bear in 1902, Steiff’s expertise and technical know-how is unsurpassed. With prices starting from £14 for a machine-washable grip toy with rattle, all children can own, enjoy and pass down a piece of toy history.
OK, so here’s your chance to win one of the two little bears. All you have to do is leave your answer to the following question by the closing date, next Sunday. Usual The Mum Blog competition rules apply.
Question: In which year did Steiff invent the teddy bear?
Good luck!
