Where we live, scooters are *the* thing. Ben, eight, had outgrown his mini scooter so when Micro Scooters UK asked if we’d like to try a new one of course we said yes. Ben’s verdict? ‘It’s brilliant and easy to go round corners.’
The new Union Jack Maxi and Mini Micro Scooters have been brought out specially to commemorate what is an incredibly special year for the UK (handy and hot days). The Union Jack Mini Micro costs £70 complete with bag whilst the Union Jack Maxi is £105 complete with bottle holder.
We’re so impressed with our new Maxi-micro scooter that for Day 4 of my Blogoversary giveaway week I’m giving you the chance to WIN a Union Jack one. For your chance to win, tell me who you would give the scooter to, and why, by the closing date next Thursday. Usual The Mum Blog competition rules apply. Good luck!
Sorry just seen the comp has closed. Well done to the winner.
I would give this to my son, to make up for the cheap and nasty one I bought him last year that broke after just a few weeks..
Oh oh oh oh! I am dancing a jig! Thank you – I will have one delighted little boy 😀 xxxx
Thank you to everyone for entering, I’ve loved reading your stories. The winner is fenngirl – if you’d like to email your details to me via the contact form I’ll make sure your prize is sent to you.
I would love to win a micro scooter for my son Freddie. Every day when I pick him up from nursery there is a beautiful, shiny and oh so tempting micro scooter parked outside. It consequently takes me a good half an hour to prise, bribe, drag & cajole him home leaving the scooter to it’s rightful owner. Please help me!
I would give it to my 8 year old brother. He’s struggling with this weight and my mum can’t afford to get him a bike at the moment. I think this scooter would be such a great alternative for him, and he would really put it to use this summer.
I would give it to my 9yr old son who was left heartbroken when someone stole his brand new scooter he got for his birthday from school the first time he took it to school and it still hasn’t turned up 🙁 now he has to plead with his sister to let him have a go on hers
I would give this to my daughter Isla who is almost 7. She has outgrown her mini-micro but her mobility problems (she has Down syndrome) mean that she can’t manage to use a two wheeled scooter like lots of her friends. Everyone at her school uses a scooter and she just wants to be like her friends. It is her birthday in 2 weeks so this would be perfect!
I’d give it to my sons Dad, not for him to use himself. But for his other son, and my son to share when they are there. My son is still only just getting scootering, it would be great if his half-brother could help to teach him.
My niece would love this! @mummyadventure
I would give it to my 5 year old son James, we moved to a house near his school so we walk to school every day and he would love to have this so he could scoot to school like his friends!
I would give it to my daughter who is 7. She would love it.
My youngest would love this, very much. Please enter us x
I’d put this away for when Tigger is big enough to use it
I would give it to my little boy Sam who is just about to become a big brother. It would be a lovely gift to him from the new baby who is about to turn Sams world upside down! x
i’d give it to my son because he is fascinated by other kids scooters so it’d be nice to see him have a go himself.
I would give it to Sonny because he had a bit of a bad crash on his old one and mangled it!
Don’t scooter down hills kids…
I would give it to my daughter who is 9. She would love the cool look and design of it, and use it everyday on our VERY long school run. Good luck everyone 🙂
I would give this to my 5 year old.
My 3 children all loves scooters and spend a lot of time playing on them, her scooter broke last week and she is so upset. Winning this would make her year
I’d give it to my son who is 5 today. It’s a very cool scooter, I’m sure he’d love it.
My daughter Molly asks when she can have a new scooter every single day. Hers works but we forgot it at school one day and left it there ofor at least 3 weeks as it was over the Christmas holidays. Love the union jack on this one.
I’d give it to my nephew, cos his cousin has one an he looks very enviously at it. I’d love to see his face if he had one of his own
I would give this to my 6 year old son. He is learning to ride a bike without stabilisers and his current scooter has the handles coming off it. As a reward to learning to go his bike he would love this! <3
My son Nathan who is 5 would love this! He has just started to play outside with his friends and I can see him zooming up and down on this over the Easter holidays and having a fantastic time!
I would love this for my 3 year old niece who is very outdoorsy. Great for the fab weather we’ve been given this past week! @1moaningmummy
I would give it to 7 yo Owen, my lovely son. We have had a very hard time of it over the past five years and it’s not over yet. However, his sunny personality and loving nature never falters and he amazes me. He’s a special one…
I would give it to my 3yr old os he would look cool at pre-school….he would then be happy to pass his scooter on to his little cousin.
I would give this to my son Toby, who’s 8. He is the happiest, most loving person I’ve known. His experience of childhood so far has involved lots of tests and therapies, and effort and patience. He has Aspergers, dyspraxia, a stammer, severe food allergy and was very unwell for a couple of years with his thyroid. He’s now at an age where he’s asking why he’s different from some of his peers, and why he can and can’t do some of the things they can do. This scooter would be so wonderful – give him the opportunity to do some of the carefree childhood things his peers do, so he can feel more like one of the crowd!
I would give it to my daughter so she could scoot to school!
My daughter, as she is always trying to pinch other childrens!
My son would love this so I would give it to him @MummyFever
I would give it to my daughter. Loving the union jack!
I have four nieces, a daughter and a son, I think if I was lucky enough to win one, we would have to draw a name out of a hat! X
Emma xx (@beachpebble)
I would give it to my daughter. She really wants one if these as they are the new craze at school.
My 8-year old Son Ben would LOVE this scooter! It’s his birthday in a couple of weeks and he would be so happy to unwrap a new scooter just in time to enjoy the Spring/Summer.
I’d love this scooter for Michela as she has outgrown her Fifi scooter (it has no break and is pretty basic).
She is not that good on her bike yet and as she is five in a few weeks, it would be a lovely suprise!
I would give this to Kian my 11 year old son. He has outgrown his scotter and would love a new one. It would also give me great bribery to get him off the blasted Xbox and outside for some fresh air!!
