Win a fantastic scooter

March 29, 2012

Where we live, scooters are *the* thing. Ben, eight, had outgrown his mini scooter so when Micro Scooters UK asked if we’d like to try a new one of course we said yes. Ben’s verdict? ‘It’s brilliant and easy to go round corners.’

The new Union Jack Maxi and Mini Micro Scooters have been brought out specially to commemorate what is an incredibly special year for the UK (handy and hot days).  The Union Jack Mini Micro costs £70 complete with bag whilst the Union Jack Maxi is £105 complete with bottle holder.

We’re so impressed with our new Maxi-micro scooter that for Day 4 of my Blogoversary giveaway week I’m giving you the chance to WIN a Union Jack one. For your chance to win, tell me who you would give the scooter to, and why, by the closing date next Thursday. Usual The Mum Blog competition rules apply. Good luck!

I would love to win a micro scooter for my son Freddie. Every day when I pick him up from nursery there is a beautiful, shiny and oh so tempting micro scooter parked outside. It consequently takes me a good half an hour to prise, bribe, drag & cajole him home leaving the scooter to it’s rightful owner. Please help me!

I would give it to my 8 year old brother. He’s struggling with this weight and my mum can’t afford to get him a bike at the moment. I think this scooter would be such a great alternative for him, and he would really put it to use this summer.

I would give it to my 9yr old son who was left heartbroken when someone stole his brand new scooter he got for his birthday from school the first time he took it to school and it still hasn’t turned up 🙁 now he has to plead with his sister to let him have a go on hers

  • Emma Hall April 4, 2012 at 7:57 pm

I would give this to my daughter Isla who is almost 7. She has outgrown her mini-micro but her mobility problems (she has Down syndrome) mean that she can’t manage to use a two wheeled scooter like lots of her friends. Everyone at her school uses a scooter and she just wants to be like her friends. It is her birthday in 2 weeks so this would be perfect!

  • Bek April 4, 2012 at 7:56 pm

I’d give it to my sons Dad, not for him to use himself. But for his other son, and my son to share when they are there. My son is still only just getting scootering, it would be great if his half-brother could help to teach him.

I would give it to 7 yo Owen, my lovely son. We have had a very hard time of it over the past five years and it’s not over yet. However, his sunny personality and loving nature never falters and he amazes me. He’s a special one…

  • HELEN March 29, 2012 at 9:34 am

I would give it to my 3yr old os he would look cool at pre-school….he would then be happy to pass his scooter on to his little cousin.

    Great prize.

  • Lucy March 29, 2012 at 9:31 am

I would give this to my son Toby, who’s 8. He is the happiest, most loving person I’ve known. His experience of childhood so far has involved lots of tests and therapies, and effort and patience. He has Aspergers, dyspraxia, a stammer, severe food allergy and was very unwell for a couple of years with his thyroid. He’s now at an age where he’s asking why he’s different from some of his peers, and why he can and can’t do some of the things they can do. This scooter would be so wonderful – give him the opportunity to do some of the carefree childhood things his peers do, so he can feel more like one of the crowd!

She is not that good on her bike yet and as she is five in a few weeks, it would be a lovely suprise!

  • Kara March 29, 2012 at 7:34 am
