I really love maternity gift specialists Baby Blooms. They’re well known for their floral clothing bouquets, but they also have a range of gifts for all members of the family and have just launched a fantastic range of Floral Chocolate Bouquets (nom).
So for Day 2 of my blogoversary competition week I’m giving you the chance to win a fabulous Just For Mums gift bag, worth £110. The rope-handled bag is packed full of goodies to make a new mum or mum-to-be feel relaxed, pampered and appreciated, including Burts Bees Head to Toe Starter kit, Belly Butter and Leg and Foot Cream, Bamboo and Cotton Bath Sheet and Lavender Eye Mask. Heaven in a bag, in fact.
OK to enter today’s competition simply leave your answer to the following question by the closing date (next Tuesday). Usual The Mum Blog competition rules apply.
Q: Tell me who you would give this bag to if you won, and why.
Good luck!
Wow such lovely entries! The winner of the competition is Jade. Congratulations, I’ll be in touch for your address.
l would give this to my daughter inlaw Carly who has just had my 1st grandchild a beautifull grandaughter Lilly Jane …
I would give it to my good friend @mummiafelice – she’s had a really tough pregnancy. Feeling ill through most of it, this is just the treat Tracy deserves.
I would give it to my best friend who is pregnant with her second child. It would make a lovely gift
I’d give it to my daughter who is expecting her second in 6 weeks. She knows only too well that it’s hard to find pamper time after a new baby so could get lots in before the new arrival hopefully!
I’ve got a friend due to have her baby very soon so I’d give it to her.
I would give this to my daughter-in-law Holly who is a fantastic mum to our first granddaughter Grace [4] and is expecting another baby girl in 5 weeks!
I would give this to my friend L who has just given birth to her first baby son after ICSI. She and her husband have had a tough time conceiving and it’s so lovely now they’ve finally got a beautiful baby.
I know it’s probably really selfish of me but I would keep it for myself. I have 4 children at home, one of whom has special needs, and get zero time to myself for any kind of pampering etc …. I’m lucky if I get time to brush my hair. Lol. I’m pregnant with number 5 and it has been a nightmare pregnancy. I have severe SPD which has caused me to have to stay off of my feet for the past few weeks (doctors orders) and means I have to inject myself with blood thinners everyday. Because of the problems I have been having I am being induced within the next couple of weeks, although I am not due for another 5, and to be able to have a bit of pampering and relaxation would be total heaven!!! 🙂
I’d keep it for myself I’m afraid, although I may be persuaded to share with a friend who’s also expecting. Second time round has been so much harder than the first time, I don’t know if it’s because I’m older this time, but I have so many more symptoms including PGP which, with a 3yr old to run after, is a killer! Fingers crossed anyway, and what a fab competition, thank you xx
I’m another cheeky one for saying I’d keep it! It’s gorgeous and I’m expecting my first baby (girl) after 8 years trying to conceive, so over the moon (but cannot afford to treat myself to one). pleeeeease =D
I would give this to my sister she is due at the end of May, It was a 3 year slog to conceive but they managed it so we are all very excited, she needs to be pampered!
I would give it to my friend’s first grandchild’s mummy. Her little one was born 8 weeks arly and is in special care.a worrying time, so it would be lovely to be able to cheer them up.
I’d share it with my two friends who are due the same time as me (in just a few weeks, eek!). Happy blogoversary 🙂
I’d give this to my friend who is expecting her first baby in June. She nearly died last year when surgeons had to cut her dead foetus out of her fallopian tubes, so she really deserves some special pampering…
@caro_mad
I would give it to my lovely sister who is just about to have her first baby – i’m so excited to be an Auntie!
I would unashamedly keep the goodie bag for myself! My beautiful daughter is 10 weeks old and I feel like I need totally rejuvenating head to toe so I no longer feel like the slummy mummy always covered in sick and dribble! My hair and skin are suffering post-pregnancy too!!
I’m sorry to say I’d like it for myself I’m over 5 months pregnant and constantly running after my 1 year old so a bit of pampering treats would be fantastic!
id give it to my lovely nan! she runs around after all of use and needs a well earned pampering and some “me time” shes just become a great nan since i had my little one so shes always on the go helping me , she deserves a nice treat! something like this is right up her street! :Dxx
I’d give this to my best friend for her baby shower – she’s expecting her baby in July and this would make her day 🙂
I’m due in may…x
would give it to my adopted daughters half sister who gave birth to a baby boy yesterday because we have always treated her as one of our own
I would give this to my friend who is pregnant and not feeling too good right now @MummyFever
Is it wrong to say I would keep it for myself?! I never have the money to treat myself, ever so this would be a lovely way to indulge and I would pretend my little boy had something to do with aquiring it 😉
I would give it to my lovely generous friend, Rachrl, who has just had her fourth baby. She is a rather amazing woman and I can’t think of anyone who would deserve it more.
I’d give it to one of my NCT friends expecting a second baby in the next couple of months! @iheartmuthahood
My lovely friend Erin is due in 3 weeks time but is working for another two, so she could do with a pamper. Also, her daughter is 8 so she keeps saying this pregnancy is like starting all over again! She would love this gorgeous bag of goodies 🙂
I’d give it to my daughter, who is expecting her second baby injust over a month’s time. New mums are often showered with presents for the baby, but THEY are the ones who’ve done all the hard work and deserve a few treats!
