As a lover of all things Swiss, from the Alps to the food, and also of course Swiss design, I was intrigued by the idea of Victorinox Swiss Army Victoria perfume, so when I was offered a bottle to try of course I said yes. I hadn’t even realised there was such a thing as Swiss Army perfume before, but apparently Victorinox is an internationally renowned perfume house, so there you go.
The packaging, inspired by the Swiss Army emblems, is as sleek and functional as you’d expect, and the bottle is very elegant. The fragrance itself is light and floral, with base notes of sandalwood, cedar leaf, white musk and myrrh, middle notes of rose, lily-of-the-valley and viola, and top notes of freesia, plum and blackcurrant. I’m guessing the idea is that Victorinox Swiss Army Victoria perfume smells like an Alpine meadow, and it is very fresh.
An added bonus is the adorable refillable travel spray which currently comes with it, and is designed to look like a little Swiss Army knife. I’m just hoping it doesn’t get taken off me at airport security next time I fly.
