As you know I only ever agree to work with brands I really love, or causes I really believe in. So when I get approached by an organisation that I feel is a PERFECT fit for me, my family and The Mum Blog, of course I get very excited.
So I’m THRILLED to be able to tell you that I’ve been asked to work with Fox. Fox as in FANTASTIC movies and TV *squee*.
I’ll be sharing more about this over the coming months, but meanwhile, we’ve been sent a rather snazzy Apple TV preloaded with the movie Turbo. Now we’re big fans of the DreamWorks characters in this house, but when you’re watching new characters for the first time there’s always a certain amount of trepidation: will we like it? Will it be as good as Madagascar or Shrek? That kind of thing.
(LOVING the Apple TV by the way – so easy to use, you basically plug it in and off you go, and then you can play loads of movies and TV shows on your HD TV. Genius).
Of course an added bonus for any mums or aunties watching Turbo is that it has the voice talent of Ryan Reynolds *cough*.
Anyhoo, here Ben, 10, shares his Turbo movie review, completely in his own words:
“Turbo is a film about a snail called Turbo and he dreams of being a racer but his brother tells him not to be a racer and to start to be how nature made him. One day he lands on a car and the turbo engine sends power into him and makes him exactly like a real race car.
“I really loved the film because it was an unusual story. It has lots of action and good animation and I would give it a 4 ½ out of 5.”
And here’s a trailer – as Ben says, you’ll love this movie:
