The One with Me and Andrew Lincoln

March 8, 2012

Yesterday I spent two and a half hours with Andrew Lincoln.

I KNOW! *screams*

I’ve been a huge fan of Andrew’s ever since This Life, really. I loved him in Love Actually and Teachers and After Life of course I’m addicted to The Walking Dead.

OK we were actually working. Andrew – or Andy, as I now like to call him – was recording the voiceovers for the Tesco Mum of the Year awards which take place this Sunday.

He really does have the most wonderful voice.

What I also discovered is that he really cares about the stories he’s narrating, asking questions all the way through the process, and will do as many takes as necessary to get the tone exactly right.

He’s also very funny and charming and told me he’s off to the States soon to film the third season of The Walking Dead.

Oh, and in case you were wondering, he smells delicious.

*cough*

I can’t believe you’ve been sniffing Egg. Could you not have kidnapped him for the awards? To sit at our table …?

Now that was a good day at the office!

I do like a man who smells nice.

Nice work if you can get it, eh? I loved him as Egg but in Love Actually he gets to me. That bit when he stands on the doorstep and holds up those boards to Keira K saying the reason he’s so horrible to her is because he loves her…

I have always liked you but reading that I am now unable to speak to you again out of pure jealously.

I haven’t watched him in anything that I haven’t loved and his voice IS just gorgeous!
