I took these photos on Friday in Ho Chi Minh (yes I’ve been in South East Asia for the past week, just in case you missed me).
I’ve never seen so many brides in one day, but actually, this wasn’t their wedding day – that will take place in a couple of weeks time. What they’re doing here is having an official photo taken, in a rented dress.
Their preferred location is by the Notre-Dame Basilica because they believe it’s lucky.
Each of them was accompanied by a make-up artist as well as the photographer, and they were only too happy to pose for pictures for all the onlookers.

That’s like in Hong Kong. Some of my friends had their wedding photos taken over a year before the wedding. A couple of months before is quite normal.
