Review: Yves Rocher L’Eau des Vahines

July 5, 2012

I must admit it’s been a while since I tried any Yves Rocher products, although I remember when I was growing up everyone loved them. But when I read that they’d bought out a Monoi-scented perfume I couldn’t wait to try it, because Monoi is one of my absolute favourite perfumes (it’s made by soaking  the Tiaré flower – Tahitian gardenias – in coconut oil and always reminds me of being on holiday).

And L’Eau des Vahinés immediately evokes the scent of summer – it’s a gorgeous, light fragrance, with notes of Tiaré and Ylang Ylang mixed together in a vanilla base. The packaging is wonderfully vintage, too.
