Marc Jacobs Dot Eau de Parfum review

September 2, 2012

Marc Jacobs makes some of my favourite fragrances – particularly the eponymous Marc Jacobs, and Daisy. And I’m also a sucker for a gorgeous bottle, so Marc Jacobs Dot Eau de Parfum was always going to be a winner with me.

The bottle is, quite simply, a work of art (I took this photo myself). Incredible detail, and it looks SO pretty on my dressing table.

But what about the perfume? Well, it’s definitely a romantic fragrance. It has top notes of red berries and dragonfruit, with a touch of honeysuckle, and the heart is white florals – jasmine and orange blossom – with a touch of coconut water, finishing with vanilla, driftwood and musk. The citrus notes stop it being too sweet and the vanilla is very pleasant.

I love it. It won’t be my signature scent (that honour goes to Marc Jacobs) but it’s a lovely perfume all the same.
