The theme for this week’s Gallery is ‘light’. With this in mind, I took these pictures on my way home from work on Monday – it was an absolutely gorgeous evening, the lights were just coming on across the city, and all the way along Waterloo Bridge there were people taking photos.
(I didn’t use Instagram or any other app to enhance this photo by the way; this is exactly how the sky looked. Incredible, isn’t it?)
I also love the way they’ve decided to illuminate some of the South Bank buildings to make them look more attractive; in fact, with those bright colours, even the ugliest concrete becomes beautiful.
