Just call me Charlie Dimmock

September 5, 2011

Or not, because the truth is I’m very much a Fair Weather Gardener. I like doing a bit of pottering and I don’t mind mowing the lawn, but any thing that feels too much like hard work I tend not to bother with.

Hence the jungle-type situation we currently have at the back of our house, not helped by Yoda.

Which is why I’ve agreed to take part in the Bosch Garden Challenge. I’ve got two months to transform our unruly mess into an oasis of calm. I’ll be sharing my progress as I set to work with tools from Bosch Lawn & Garden, a lawn treatment from Green Thumb and plants from Coblands Nurseries.

Wish me luck, and er, put the champagne on ice Mr Titchmarsh.

I have also agreed to take part in this- and I am most certainly not green fingered! Good luck to both of us! x

I feel your pain, I’ve never had a garden & just bought a house with a large, fully planted and mature one – everyone says is beautiful – not my work only moved in a month ago and will so not look like that next year! Good look – look forward to the results! Cx
