How to wear animal print

October 18, 2013

Maybe it’s because I work in Chelsea, but yesterday there were so many animal print scarves around the King’s Road resembled a safari park. No doubt about it, animal print is having a moment. And if you want to avoid looking like Bet Lynch/Pat Butcher/Cruella de Vil/an extra from the stage show of The Lion King, less is definitely more. One accessory, not head to toe, will suffice.

Animal print bagStep forward then my personal perennial favourites Boden, who have some really gorgeous bang on trend animal print accessories that will show you speak fashion – but aren’t a slave to it. I particularly love the animal print version of the Chelsea bag (£149)…

Animal print sling backsand I’ve totally fallen in love with the animal print slingbacks (£99) – so much so in fact that here they are, in my house *sighs happily*.

Plus of course no cheetahs/leopards/dalmatian puppies have been harmed in the making of these accessories: they’re cruelty-free 🙂
