Here comes the sun

January 11, 2012

I’ve told you before how much I love instagram and how brilliant it is for taking photos of animals.

But it’s also great for taking really atmospheric photos of landscapes too. Choosing a filter – here I’ve used X-Pro II and Lomo-fi – enhances the image so that it becomes something a bit more special, even when it’s of the same view, taken a few minutes apart.

*This is my entry for The Gallery – the theme this week is phone photos.

They are really beautiful. I took a similar one the other day for my 366 project and it is amazon that they are taken on a phone! Lovely

Love the contrast (the first photo really strikes a chord with me). So wonderful to have a phone camera handy in the back pocket to capture a perfect moment – and that sunrise looks beautiful!

Wishing you a great 2012 with plenty more special moments to capture 🙂
