FlowRider wipeout

Climbing WallOne of the best things about cruising on a ship like Liberty of the Seas is the mind-blowing range of Things To Do on board. There is absolutely no possibility of you ever hearing the words ‘I’m Bored’ from anyone, ever. There’s everything from a giant climbing wall, to an ice-rink, to a 9-hole golf course, to state of the art kids clubs…

and the piece de resistance, the FlowRider.

This is essentially a surf simulator with real waves, and it’s endlessly entertaining – a crowd usually gathers to watch and wait for the next wipeout (which is met with lots of applause and ‘ooohs’). So respect then to my homie Becky, who managed to get on the board, and stay upright for a few seconds, before her spectacular wipeout. Superb.
