I took this photo for World Photography Day on Monday. What I wanted to capture was a typical scene on a London bus – crowded, chaotic, different generations. The woman sitting down isn’t particularly old, but she seem oblivious to the fact that the woman standing next to her has three small children and could probably do with a seat. I love the expression on the little boy’s face as he holds his sister’s pram. His brother is looking out of the window and singing, which he did for the whole journey.
*This is my entry to the Gallery and the theme this week is World Photography Day.
what a lovely picture, however i am with you on the other lady!!
Great picture. I often find people rather rude on London buses! I still love to get the bus in London though!
This is a wonderful capture of life, as tiring as it makes me feel – it’s so real.
What a great shot, I love it.
I could never get used to that. x
